La Faiselle is a french traditional cultured fresh cheese closely related to "Fromage Blanc".  The name comes from the mold in which the curd is strained: faisselle [feminine] /fɛsɛl/ which means draining basket in french.

 

La Faiselle is handmade in Singapore from fresh pateurized milk. Faisselle is often eaten as a savory dessert served with salt, pepper, and either chives or shallots. Our cheesemaker personally love it as a sweet dessert, served with sugar or honey or fresh fruits or Jam. It is also great for breakfast with cereals or fruits.
